St. Pierre, one of the 12 Apostle of Christ, firstly preached to community in a cave which is known today as St. Pierre church. It is believed that the people who define themselves as "Christians" first-time in history, were the community of this church. St. Pierre is the founder of the Antakya Church, the archpriest of the first Christian Community here and also the first Pope in the world. The church is admitted as the first cathedral of the world and was announced as a place of pilgrimage by the Pope in 1963. Hence the stone cave witnessed the first Christians and their meetings, it bears a unique importance and we choosed to name this room accordingly. Even more, pierre means stone in French and our builging is made of stone so we are happy to welcome you into our cave. Enjoy your stay at Luwi Hotel!
