St. Simon Hill is located in Hatay Samandağ being the emplacement where St.Simon and his followers build a monastry during the 6th century A.C.. Rumors says that St. Simon rested 45 years on top of a pillar 10 meter high  and 1.5 meter widht. His aim was to find oneself, to be purified from daily matters, worries and ambitions.
