When Greeks want to say 'goodluck', they say ' agathe tyhke'. Yes, that is theTykhe we are talking about, Antiochia's forgotten historical symbol! Tykhe, goddess of Greek mythology is also found in the Roman Mythology as Fortuna (luck and fortune). After all, life has countless posibilities and everybody needs some luck. Usually she is represented as a blind or blindefolded woman. In most of her statues she holds a ships steering wheel. The plentifullness of river trading was hence symbolized.
